Put the volt meter on the engine today. Reads 12.5 at idle and when revved. Found that the positive cable was slightly loose on the engine. Also found the the negative cable from my secondary battery...

Yes, the tach was adjusted to match the motor. Tach actually filled with smoke while under way; kind of looked like a crystal balll-and it was telling me my immediate future was about to take a turn...

Put the Grey Goose in the water today ('83 cuddy w/200hp black max). On the first run out of the harbor, I smoked my tach. When I got to the dock and shut it off, it wouldn't restart. Found a 20A...

I looked at that boat, and it's rough. The oilpump on the motor is OOS, and everything's full of 2 stroke oil.

Regarding the '93 with the 2000 Yammi on it:

I had that boat surveyed a couple of months ago. The reason the boat has a 2000 motor on it is BECAUSE THE ORIGINAL MOTOR WAS WIPED AFTER HITTING...

Just purchased the 5500 Navman, as well as the FS35 fuel sensor. Have not, as yet, installed same. I've used Garmin products (GPS,radar ) and Raytheon (GPS, radar, fishfinder) for years....

I removed the starbd. windshield because the screws holding it down were stripped. Cleaned the surface, and epoxied the holes. Applied 5200 to bottom of winshield, drilled new holes for...
