Thanks MJ. That is not the news I was hoping to hear. If there is no plumbing connected to it I'll probably install a small pump and run tubing to a rear scupper that is not being used.

Willy and Hammer, I noticed the patch work too when I was reviewing the pics. There are NO THRU-Hull fittings like there are on your boat Hammer. I suspect you are right and these were rerouted but...
