You are correct a barrel flush is better then no flush at all, and I am sure that the barrel flush is probly more then adaquate since the junk will be diluted.

I have never had to look for a set...

I thought the idea of flushing the motor was to get rid of the salt, silt and other foreign material that you don't want in the motor?

Using a barrel like that to flush only recirculates it thru...

Order a tube of Dow Corning 111 from McMaster-Carr ($10.82) to put on the connections after you make them up. This will keep the moisture out and prevent corriosion.

No pics but I have the rollers removed and the arms ready to clean and install new rollers. Two hours and I should be done with the stern rollers then on to the forward rollers.

Cleaned and greased swivel pad and installed new bolts. Also found a stuck roller on this side as on the other. Thats two stuck rollers I had to push against to get the boat off the trailer.

Working on starbord side now. New bolts and I added spacer washers to get more room between the support arm and brackets.

New support arm bolts and frame bolts. Now it tilts and swivels real easy.
