Try running the motor off a 6 gallon tank with fresh fuel. That always helps me isolate fuel related problems up to the motor. If it runs well on the 6 gallon tank then chase the problem backwards....

I have a flywheel removal tool. I'll be going through RI on Tuesday if you want to borrow it for a few hours :) I'll bring a couple of stators too. It's EZ to swap them out.

Sure sounds like a bad switchbox to me. No spark on one side is almost a dead give away. Make sure they are both grounded. If you 100% positive that your didn't make a mistake swapping them . . ....

Ferm - put it up on ebay. It'll sell in a week. Craigslist is a PIA. Haggling with people is very frustrating for me . . . You can ship these in a Bike Box from a bicycle shop. They fit perfectly...

It might be worth looking to see if you can remove the intake/carbs and pull the shaft up and out that what. I've heard the motors with the horizontal front will allow the shift shaft to be removed...

Timing point is adjustable and it sits on the flywheel cover. You need to verify that .462 on the flywheel lines up with the timing mark . . . if I remeber correctly.

If you still have bogging issue after you remove the modules . . . check the stator. You can test the voltages with a multi meter.

Also a good idea to inspect all the wiring and the coils.
