Step 1 of steering cylinder replacement done. soaked all the rusty fittings with PB blaster while waiting for new part to arrive. Expecting it to arrive tomorrow.

Here's the stuff,

This stuff is 2" wide. I used 3 pieces to cover the area and trimmed about 3/8" off the width of the last piece.

Replacing the fish finder
Depth readings on the old fishfinder were frequentlly reading over 500 feet (not happening in the Chesapeake) so it was time to replace it.
Here's where the old one was mounted...

Getting the boat ready for the season and I noticed the power steering pump resivoir was very low on fluid. I added fluid, and started the boat and started looking for leaks. Found the hydraulic...

Reel is right, this site is the owners manual. I do have the manual that came with my '89. Give me a few days and I'll scan and post it. You'll find it to be rather generic with very general info...
