Re: gps selection

I have a Garmin 76s and I love it so far. It's portable & floatable, with the additional software (including bluechart) you can do lots with it. I like to be able to take it in the house to program...

New Bimini

Spent the weekend on the boat & noticed the bimini frame is cracking. It's an old bimini that came with the boat & I knew I'd have to replace it soon but I was hoping to get by this summer.

A few...

Re: rewire

I've been working through my boat's (1987 CC) wiring for two years now and I'm making more sense of it as I go along.

The first phase was to remove the existing panel & like stripminer suggests I...

This is a great place to fish, lots of marshes & bayous, barrier islands & tons of wrecks...

Re: Trailer????

My trailer is just as you described minus the brakes & it does great.

Brakes are probably required where you live, but brakes in salt water just don't make much sense to me.

The bunkers make it...

Re: Need help ~Thinking about an 1987

Thanks guys, now that you mention that, I remember seeing a couple of these. *Still, 1.8 litres sounds awful small doesn't it?

Re: Need help ~Thinking about an 1987

I don't know what the engine you are refering to is, help me out, is it an outboard? Then what HP, 1.8...

Re: looking at used v20-a little help?

I'd have to concur about the 165. I had two before my current boat & never again.

Better on gas & quieter are pluses for an I/O but they can nickle & dime you to death, I learned all about...
