With your Dad in mind I say definitely get the cuddy. It'll be much more comfortable than either a cc or dually.

I like the Cuddy much better than a CC. It's a much drier ride, lotza storage space and affords some cover from cold winds while at anchor.

I hava 6hp Johnson...it's a two banger and will only push the V20 6 knots. I use the helm to steer as well. It's perfect fpr trolling but, kinda light for running under emergency conditions....
