I've got an old 140 (chrome spool) too, was my Grandad's. Needs s good cleaning but seems to be working fine. Gonna be my bucktailing for fluke rig next season.

True, but they have come WAY down in price. A manual one you can get for about $500 and an Auto for around $700.
