Put everything together yesterday, fired her up and Score! It's working.

Put in a new battery, all I need to do now is filters and grease the trailer & watch out lemonfish!

I have an 87 v20 with a merc 200 & I have most of the troubles you refer to. I understood the v21 deck was a bit higher to fix just these problems.

BTW mine will do 45 on GPS wide open.
