Thermostats replacement ?
I just had the waterpump replaced on my 150 yamaha by my dealer/marina . It had not been done for a couple of seasons . They replaced the thermostats at the same time . I have not done that before...

I kind of hate to see that . The trim on mine is starting to get a few bad spots on it as well . I guess that is where the water get into these things and you get transom rot .

I have seen the model on top and the one on bottom . The V21 w/hpdi is in very good shape . The one on the bottom is average for its age . It also has had the transom hatches replaced with starboard....
