OMC tilt / trim question
I'm pulling the tilt/trim unit on my 175 this weekend in preperation of replacing a leaking seal on the main piston. Isn't there a special tool for removing the top of the unit to replace that seal?...

Us snobs over on the Bimmerboard never come down on on anyone who hasn't contributed. Those boards are much more about repairs and sharing info that most folks wouldn't have...

Here's my take. I've owned two of the three styles (cuddy and dually), and fished out of the cc in the gulf before. CC is for fishing - no two ways about it. Not nearly as good for riding alot...

Used to go the the Gator bar back in my younger days - it been a while. Don't know Van, sorry.
In a nut shell, many areas in the marsh faired ok from the storms, but many did not. The headlands...

My summer haunts "used" to be the west delta rigs out of Venice during the summer in my old steplift and we'd take the small boat out to penrod slip out of Belle Pass to surf fish for reds and gig...

Is it just me or has the transom been reworked? The pic of the motor shows what looks like a redone transom top. My old 75' had a alum. cap on the transom.
