i didnt think that was the problem about the...
i didnt think that was the problem about the splines it's either in there or not.as for the shifter cable on the end of mine it has a offset bend so i know it is orientated the right way.i will check...

lower unit back ,now reverse grinds into gear
first of all ,thanks for nymack66 for the tip getting it back on. i was trying to kill myself putting it back on by myself. ok now i have it back on and when i put it in reverse it starts to grind ...

i cant get my lower unit back on
88 johnson200 i took it off today to replace the water pump and went to put it back on and now i cant get the thing back on . any tips would be appreciated. thanks

how easy is it to remove cap and liner?
i'm getting ready for a rebuild on my 85cc and i'm wondering how hard it is to pop the liner out in 1 piece.i see it is held together with screws in the rubrail and glassed together a little under...

most economical 200hp to put on a v20 cc?
suggestions anyone?cant afford new but will definately be within 10 years old.maybe a optimax of a hpdi,probably wont spend no more than $5000 to $6000 at the most.i got a 89 johnson 200 on there now...

got a 85v20 cc and it has a 55 gallon tank i think in it.i want to go bigger when i replace the tank.what's the biggest size tank someone has in their cc?
