I added a lewmar v700 to my boat a few years...

I added a lewmar v700 to my boat a few years back. I love it! only thing I would change would be to mount it further to the stern. I could use more free fall length

with a 350 and a bravo leg theyre on the small side... usually run with them 2/3's down if its not calm, if it is then 1/2

4800-5200 is the normal wot operating range for an mpi motor. its actually 5170rpm when its stripped down and empty of fuel/light, and 4900 when loaded up with gear and fuel. --- just perfect imo...

really stern heavy and had to put tabs on it to stop it from porposing

sea trial today

got the boat wet today,
after a few runs her best speed was 42 knots (gps) with a 19p turning at 4800/bravo leg 1.5;1

wondering if an 18p or a smalled diameter 19p would get it up to 5000rpm
