the whole tcw-3 thing seems to have created a lot of confusion in oils, but the tcw rating refers to lubricity, (meaning how slick or the lubricating properties of the oil).

the bore change from small to big was basically done to improve idiling charistics, also other modifications were done after the change mostly carburation i think there were 2 or 3 diff. carb...

Spare parts is pretty much right on about the alpha,
it will hold up fine with your horsepower, and hes got a good point especially about the spray cooler and drive fill resivoir, most failures...
