Re: Looks like a real good deal in MD- long link

I emailed these people the other day. They don't know much about the boat. They think the engine works because the "donator" said it did. The motor is a 1994, but the skeg on that looks like someone...

Not a bad idea, I should be pretty safe with cash in hand in Mystic (hopefully).

I'll bring the camera and send out some pictures.

I'm actually a little excited about there being two motors,...

Re: Delmarva VEEEE sale

I agree, that's a much better boat I'll see where it comes in as the auction comes to its end.

If the opportunity was around to buy the boat in Delaware (which is easier for me to pickup coming...

Re: Delmarva VEEEE sale

Still puttering around with the idea of purchasing a V20. In any of your opinions what would be a "must have" price for a V20 like this?

Re: V20 in New York

It's a good 3 hours away, but hell if I'm nominated I'll see if I can pass it by the wife. She's only a "little" pregnant so the beating shouldn't last too long, she tends to tire quickly.

V20 in New York

Just came across this V20 out on Long Island, looks like a good price, but without pictures it's like a blind date.

Re: Here it is! *Our futur V20-Building Facility!

Technically, because the boat has been around for more that 10 years, you could make a copy of it. I wouldn't advise it, but the law is somewhat cloudy, it seems to only protect the design for a 10...

Re: MUST SEE TO BELIEVE true JET Boat.

You gotta love his statement about this boat running for thousands of hours before work will be needed (BS).

Those engines are on some smaller aircraft and are overhauled somewhat regularily.

Try and get a sample of the gas from the tank, put it in a clear container and see if you have little bubbles in the gas (little melted butter like...

Re: Question on Boat Purchase (Now With Pics on Pg

The motor was partially submerged, it did a half tilt. The controls and steering stayed out of the water.

I would assume the floatation would need to be replaced as well, it's normally a good...

Re: Question on Boat Purchase (Now With Pics on Pg

If I went ahead with this I would go into it knowing I would have to replace everything. I also would pretty much only get it now if he gave it to me for the price of the trailer.

How much would...

Re: Question on Boat Purchase (Now With Pics on Pg

Yea, the scuppers are actually where the problem originated, there wasn't a complete seal and you can see the rot right in there. It looks like they tried to fix it, but didn't do a hell of a job.
