I was thinking of additional supports / gussets...

I was thinking of additional supports / gussets inside the boat back to the stringers due to the increased weight of the new poured transom. The weight increase may be negligible but I wanted to ask....

Arjay Poured transom

I will am almost ready to pour my new transom. Ater a few more hours, it should be clean down to the glass.

I will be glassing a additional 5" height to make this a 25" transom before I pour....

I ended up using 3/4" PVC. The plastic sleeves were not quite long enough. I epoxied the ends as suggested above. I will post pics after fairing and touch up. Went Well! Thanks!

Under gunnel rod holder inserts

I have to repair the set rod holder inserts for my 79' CC. They are all there but have many cracks. Can I use standard fiberglass repair to fix these or is there a better way?

Transom splash pan drain holes

I am looking for advice on the proper way to finish the drain holes for the transom splash pan. The current drain holes in my splash pan expose the plywood core in the transom.
