will prop fit?

as i stated in the past, i am in the dark about outboards ... my sea drive came with a stainless prop ..

what are the chances that this prop will fit the motor i buy to replace the sea drive? looking at either yamaha or merc.

are they a standard size, or is each manufacturer different?

What sea-drive did you have before? Some can be made to interchange with a hub change, and some props use an interchangeable hub system which is the easiest to swap over.

the sea drive is a 1.6 l VRO

The 1.6L sea-drive uses a 4" hub and a 13 spline prop shaft. They will fit some other V4's with a hub change, but they are meant for the 85-140 JOHNNY-RUDES(and some smaller 3 cylinders with oversized gear cases).
