I just took my fishfinder off my Wellcraft and put it on my YAK....I dont even know me anymore!! :head:

Stink - buy yourself a spare mounting bracket and wiring harness for your FF. That way you can move it back and forth b/t boat and yak. That is what I did on the big boat and small boat with my GPS. Saves some dough.

You can find them on eBay or some online stores.

Thats why I did it.


I already had a spare harness and transducer from a swap out on a bad unit a couple years back. I HAD a bracket, but couldnt find it so I had to buy a 15 dollar mounting bracket. Now it does double duty!!


Gonna try it out in the lake this evning and find some of those big nasty bass haunts.

So, if I get me a yak this summer...can I put my Furuno 600L on it?????
