hull layup question
 

i should know this but dont, on a v-23 hull and i assuming the v-20 also besides obviously having stringers, does the hull have a core glasses into the bottom also with the stringers or is it just a hell of alot of layers of glass laid up on the bottom?
deal is i am inheriting a v-23 but the stringers need replacing

redo on the question. v-20 its solid glass between the stringers or is there a core material.

V20 is solid glass no core, as is the V21 I have never seen a V23??

My 23 Sea Ox is over 1" thick with a core.

The hull is solid glass, no core. The stringers do have a core in them if that is what you are asking though. BERTRAM was the one who used the open coreless stringers, but they had some issues.

yeah the stringers are out on the v-23 the chines have small cracks and seepage is occuring so they have to be replaced.

lol...naw it has a cut out transom but it would be one bad mother with a bracket. i am gonna run twin 225 fichts though it would be too much weight with a bracket
