Resin

just did my first fiberglass repair. removed one of the rodholders on the transom, plugged it and glassed it over. gonna mount my downrigger there.
how long, in this weather will it take to set?
i know its a bit chilly but its supposed to rain all day tomorrow.
gotta get this heap in the water.

You recogn that is why you been havin problems with the Marine Tex setting up?

Normally below 70° you have to about double the amoumt of hardner to make it set or bring the resin and hardner inside to get to room temperature or use a heat gun to warm the material to the temp that the stuff likes to start setting.

Or move to a warmer climate.

Suggest any, except the last.

You wouldn't survive the sandgnats.

Take you a hair dryer to the repair spot and get it hot. That will help it to kick off and cure quicker.
