Genesis,

Buddy, relaxe... Your response to RM is really uncalled for. You're new to the site, so I can understand how you might have misunderstood his post, but you need to know that RM is trying to help. If you stick around for any length of time, you'll see just how helpful he actually is...

It would be much easier to help you out if you could take a picture of your prop and post it; that way we can see what you're dealing with.

What that means is that the description you gave is not very good. A picture would tell us all what we need to know!! And deck fittings?? What ones?? There are tons of hardware and fittings on these boats!!

Yes you were a bit over the top with that response!! We have all been stuck, and the replays aren't always what we want to here, but they all lead to a fix at some point!!

Welcome to the site Genesis08. Guys here are crazy about getting pictures just because we all like to see each other's boats. In this instance, Randlemanboater was asking for a picture only out of a desire to help identify your propellor. If you can, please post a picture of the prop and I think you will be amazed at the information you will get in response. If you are stuck, this is the place to be. If the folks on the site are not able to identify your specific prop, I am sure they can recommend what would be a good replacement.

Not aware of any good sites for fittings in particular.

Welcome and have a pleasant day.

Sounds like an old electric shift OMC outdrive. Very difficult to get parts for now. They've been out of production for quite some time. We used to call the "White elephants" because of that. It's probably a 14" diameter without much pitch to it. My guess would be 14", 15", or 16" pitch.

Not to be a nudge, but I think we can let him go on the "what's that supposed to mean",
he is Irish.:nut:

Anyway, welcome to the site and yes a picture is worth 1000 words.
also if possible put a ruler in the picture.

As far as fittings, pictures of what you need will go a long way as well.
A lot of the members have fittings laying around that they will
send to you for price of shipping.
OR,
watch e-bay.
