My first yak trip!
Well Ive made fun of kayaks in the past but now I have tried it and LOVED it.
Its a neat experience that I think helps you focus on fishing more than running from spot to spot and wasting fuel/time. Man what a cool time! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...e26e034fbd.jpg My first Yak fish (and only one landed ) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...1stfish001.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...1stfish002.jpg I also lost a shortie flounder and another slot red about 17" right at the YAK. The "mess"...NICE flatties my boy Toni caught. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...1stfish003.jpg He is a cool guy that I work with and let me borrow a yak. Now Im hooked!! I been looking at em myself this week. Who all yaks here and what kind do yall have? |
Now that my friend is how you beat the high gas prices! Bravo! Nice catchin stink!

:clap:Very Nice looking Yak CB
|
What is it CB? Is that a Manta ray?
|
Yeah. Liquid Logic Manta Ray 12. Probably going to drag it out of winter hibernation this weekend. Can't wait to get on it again. The Manta Ray has a lot of similar characteristics as the Tarpon in both layout and handling.
