Finally took the Gps out on the second run

Boat cruised nicely around 22 no idea on rpm tach is broke, trimed out it topped out at about 39 pushing 40, 14 1/2 prop 17 pitch. I was happy.:sun:

Sounds good to me. The prop calculator said you were turning around 5500 assuming an average prop slip if you have a 2.0L with a 2:1 gear ratio. If you have a 2.4L with a 1.87:1 you were turning up around 5200.

Just listening to it i was probably around 5200 to 5300, ran 20 miles today and 15 the first time out and still an 1/8 over half tank.

Yeah we do need to get another prop the boat came with two the stainless one that's on the boat and a banged up aluminum one , so we need another, I've got it setting in the water right now down at the end of my neighborhood :sun:, doing some trailer work tomorrow taking all the rollers off and v-chocking it. Also if the boat pulls right pretty good when I let go of the wheel what way does the rim tab anode need to go?

(best as I remember)

Look at the skeg. Most of them have it dished out on one side.
Standard rotation (prop clockwise), adjust the fin clockwise about the thickness of the fin (3/8 - 1/2") or to the right and try again.
I just adjusted mine but haven't tried it yet.

Is this correct?
