Holden Beach Spring Break Trip
 

Well I just got back from Holden Beach. Spent four days waitting for the wind to slow down (20-30 kts every day), it never did. It was unseasonably cool as well, never got out of the 50's Monday and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday it was around 64, the same temp as the water the wind was whipping off of.

But while I was there I changed the oil in the Johnzuki and replaced a bad tire on the trailer.

I ate enough steamed oysters to keep me good til the fall and we took some shrimp and fish out of the freezer for dinner on other nights.

The kids had a big time driving the golf cart around the neighborhood and spending time with my parents.

And my wife had a great time cause Belk's was having a clearance sale, between her, my Mom, and my Aunt, they SAVED over $2500.00, and all birthday and Christmas shopping is done for this year.

When we left yesterday the offshore forcast was for 12-17 foot seas.......Oh well, April is comming.

never heard of Belk's what is it?

Belks = Dillards = JC Penny = fill in blank

12 - 17ft seas = perfect fishing...you should have went!
