New Bimini Ordered

I ordered a new bimini from WMI Tops of Canada yesterday. Their quality and price looked good compared to some of the other compaines offering biminis. I ordered a 3-bow Navy Sunbrella top with stainless fittings and stainless support poles. I had them sew a zipper onto the front of the top so that I can have a clear window made for the gap between the windshield and the top. I'm wondering how much a 3 panel window for the front will cost, if its too much I think I will just have a piece of Sunbrella made to go in the gap.

they got a website? how much?

Hey Cy, I made a mistake its GMI Tops http://www.gmitopdesign.com/

A standard Sunbrella top is $225 + $25 to ship. I decided to upgrade to the all stainless fitting option for $35 then decided to get the support poles and have the zipper sewn in. You can have zippers sewn on all 4 sides for $60.

Here is a place I found a while back. I don't see how they sell the biminis so cheap. They also sell mooring covers.

That is cheap Blue, I know I could find a top cheaper if I didnt go with the Sunbrella. My skiff has a Sunbrella top and its going on its fourth season and still looks like new. In my opinion Sunbrella is the only way to go, plus I hate that blue color top that every boat seems to have.

Didn't see this thread till about an hour ago.

Ordered from gmitopdesign last Friday.
One with stainless hardware, 2 sets of adjustable supports with stainless hardware and Sunbrella fabric.
Arrived this afternoon (while I was out to lunch), the box had been opened, the packing slip was missing off the front of the box and only one set of adjustable supports were in the box. Everything else seems to be there.
Sent an e-mail to the customer service dept to see what I should do next, waiting for responce.

Wasen't exactly what I thought. Will post pictures before and when assembled so ya'll can judge if you like them or not.
Alright Mulv, you're expected to do the same.

This is what I didn't expect.

I thought it would come with 3 bows made from 3 pieces of pipe, not 3 bows made from 10 pieces of pipe.
All the parts and hardware are very nice grade material, everything on their website is at least as good as they say and there is no way you can beat their price (at least adding the stainless stuff in the mix).
We'll see after installation if I can screw it up farther.

Looks all there to me?? What you think they going to put toghter for you also! :you:

I ordered an extra set of adjustable supports to try something on the V (which didn't arrive).
Maybe that is already a sign not to try what I was thinking about doing.
Tell ya later.

Its not really that hard to assemble. I was really impressed with the quality of the materials and the thickness of the tubing.
