BGA is Looking for a Center Console

Hey guys,

If you come across a good deal on a center console, I'd appreciate it if you let me know.

I'm looking for something from 20-23 ft (ideal would be 21-22) and between $5-6k, preferably powered by J/E, but not necessary. T-top preferable as well...

Here are a few I've been looking at; opinions are welcome.

If this guy would take $6k, I'd be on it (I don't know why he refers to it as a nice "starter boat"):

This one's nice, but only 19 feet...

Who knows how much this one will end up going for???

I would love an Aquasport 222 CCP:

Hammer, no Bayliners buddy...

Looks like SKOOLS got your back on this one. It can't get much better for what your after.

Thanks Skools. I emailed the guy for a few more details and pics since the ones he posted turned out like negatives...

You don't think that's too old of a boat? I know those things were built like tanks, but 1978 is pretty old...

Here's another one I've been considering:

If you find a good fiberglass boat and it was taken care of a 1901 is not to old!!!!!!!!!

I like my Sea Ox so far, I have invested a lot into this boat and I only been in it 6 times!! But I can tell she is a winner!

What you waiting on with the last boat you posted? It looks great!

Waiting for two things:

1. Most important: the collective wisdom of our esteemed group :-)
2. To see if the guy has a trailer for her. I'm thinking he doesn't.

my sea ox you saw is a 77 and it's hull is 3 times as thick in glass as our V20's much better built boats, but heavy. will out last you for sure.

Thanks for that Skools.

Hey, Iboats has the following info on that sea ox:

The 1978, 2300 Center Console is a 22.58 foot outboard boat. The weight of the boat is 1980 lbs. which does not include passengers, aftermarket boating accessories, or fuel. The max rated horsepower of this boat, as listed by the manufacturer, (according to records we have) is 240 hp .

Do you know the size of the beam on that baby?

NADA only goes as far back as 1980, but says:

Boats and Personal Watercraft
1980 SEA OX
SEA OX 230
Outboard Boats

Length: 23' Model Name/Description: SEA OX 230 Boat Type: Outboard Boats Hull Material: Fiberglass Beam: 8' 6" Engine: N/A Net Weight: 4000
