Oregon Inlet
 

The wind is suppose to die down tonite so me and my fishing buddies are going out from Oregon Inlet Sunday. I talked to a couple of charter boat captains I know and they say they have been limiting out all this week, so I'm gonna find out. ALL the luck to ya Lee,If ya listen to 104.1 early in the morning about 630 they give a very good detailed fishing report of our area, Outer banks and inland!

I use to listen to captn marty every morning but now that I'm retired I don't get up in time to hear it.

We caught 4 nice ones today, all in the 38-43lb range. I lost another big one and with it my best lure. We had to ride all the way back up to the VA/NC line.

I'll post pics later.

I ran into a guy with a V this summer out here with his family swimming at Winslow beach here next to the coast guard base. He said he wasn't a member, but he also said he didn't have or use a computer.

We need to meet one day, let me know when is a good day for you and I'll meet you somewhere. :time:

Garage, all the way to va/nc line? Thats a haul. How much fuel did you burn?

We are thinking about going again in 2 weeks....question is which inlet will the fish be closest to.
