Tartar Sauce
 
All these ''crusty-fish'' recipes makin' me sum mo hongrie...and ya juss can't eat no ''crusty-fish' w/ out draggin' it thru some o' dis:


My Mama's Tartar Sauce

1 cup mayo*
Finely chop and measure 1 Tblspn of ea...
onion
DILL pickle
capers
olives
stir all plus 1 Tblspn fresh lemon juice into mayo

*Crappy mayo will yield crappy T' Sauce...and for any who might confuse mayo and Miracle Whip :P :-X ...well let's just say ya oughtta be lead out and SHOT!!...

Funny Miracle whip comment RAP ;) I will have to try this tarter. Me and the wife have been going to the fresh seafood market once per week for fresh shrimp. I might pick up some flounder fillets this week (and shrimp too 8)). Dang I'm gettin hungry!

hoping we will see a lot of tartar recipes here. heres mine

1 green onion, thinly sliced
1 tablespooon drained capers, minced
1 small sweet pickle, minced
2 tablespooons chopped fresh parsley
1 1/3 cups mayo

MJ...just regular green olives, but ripe ones will work juss as mo-bedder ;D ...
