WINDSHIELD REPLACEMENT

If I remember correctly, some folks were looking for replacement windshields, saw this and thought someone might find it helpful - see the link

Re: WINDSHIELD REPLACEMENT

I chuckled at the passage about insurance covering repairs as a little self-serving in a shady way.

"I was walking on the foredeck and tripped on the hatch rails, falling into the windshield and shattering all three panes." $500 deductible = new windshield? ;)

Good resource to keep in mind, though. If I were to re-do mine, I think I would try to rake the windshield a little, instead of making everything in-line. The walk-through pane is forward, and the two sides sweep back, and you still have the side panels. Like the Formula 233 Fisherman...

Re: WINDSHIELD REPLACEMENT

I've been toying with making a new windshield frame - I would like to raise it about 4 inchea and add a radius to the side glass. Gotta figure out how to make a frame out of fiberglassor epoxy - and a little rake might be cool if you dont lose too much space over the helm
