Measurements for Teak Bow strips
 

I am looking to add teak bow strips to my v-21. Does anybody have the measurements? I can eyeball the length and have seen different lengths on different boats/model year. I guess I am just asking for the width and height of those strips (looks like it could be 1" x 2"?). Thx in advance!

1 1/2" X 3/4" X 42" It is routered on the bottom about 1/8" to 3 /16 for the hatch to slide forward.

I just made new ones from starboard. The Teak says that it is 7/8" thick but I think it might be swelled a little??

But I used 3/4 with no problem.

Aren't the newer hatch guide strips longer than the older ones like mine and MJ's...they sure look like it in the photos... ;)...

MJ...if you get a chance, cruise Gallery for bow shots of later models...looks like hatch guides extend further forward...
