Anybody have any experience with Seloc manuals for Johnson Outboards ?

is advertized by Iboats for about $36
does this cover my '95 150 HP Oceanrunner ??
does it have repair partnumber listings/illustrated breakdowns in it ?

i had them and they were useless. Look on ebay and find a OMC Service Manual for Johnson / Evinrude for your year and motor and it will have more than enough info for you. look also for your motor and year parts list sheets and it will have all numbers and break downs of your motor. What is your motor Model Number and I'll look for you? The Model is how you buy the books.

I just returned home and the boat is in Galveston.

The Johnson owner ID card I recieved with the boat when I bought it says it's a J150EXER - 03610775
built on 10/05/94.. does that help ?

Iv'e got a Clymer manual. I wish i would have bought an OMC manual.

hey that's a 1994 motor"ER" means 94 yr and "EX" means electric Start with 25" shaft. Here's the manual you will want and the searay guy is great to deal with i've bought several items from him. link below

You should also buy a parts catalog so when you need parts or part numbers, plus to see if or what parts from other years will fit and work on your motor. here's one on ebay as well. this guy is great to deal with too i've got at least 20 or so different ones from him for different motors i've fixed or had. chipde, I've got the same motor and a factory OMC manual. The beautiful thing is that I have'nt had to open the manual ...yet...those 150-200 Oceanrunners are great!!!
