Deck Drain / Bar sink Drain
I finally found those sink/bar drains that were mentioned that could be used for floor deck drains. They have them at Boaters World in Newark, De. Gonna go check them out first and see if they will work.

You should see if they have some type of strainer that would stick up and screw in strong, I think those inside jobs will clog on very little normal boat debris

Re: Deck Drain / Bar sink Drain
Well, I drove 88 miles to check out these deck drains that were listed on there site. When I got there is was...."sorry sir we dont have them in stock"
But will gladly order them for you. So I came home empty handed. I wanted to check the item out in person and see if they will work before ordering them, getting them and then working. Already waisted some money or trail and errors. |

Remove one from the boat and go to your local plumbing supply house, not lowes or home depot. They'll be able to match you up.

Make sure the metal is STAINLESS and not chrome-plated somethin' else... ;)...

Actually, get brass.

Re: Deck Drain / Bar sink Drain
Brass as long as it's not plated...sooner or later that ol' salt gonna find its way thru plating and then it'll peel away like a stripper in heat...only won't LOOK as good!!! ;D ;D ;D

Re: Deck Drain / Bar sink Drain
The drains I got are solid brass, not plated and look like new after 3 years.
