I'll tell ya StinkMan you might of missed your callin, Film is where you should have been, I might have to call you Hollywood, nah can't insult you like that. Just keep them moving pictures comin son, and I love your eye protection ;)

Stink, so glad you decided to do the transom the right way. You should also consider adding some knee braces from the new transom to the stringers to make it even more solid...I'll try and find some pics of what I'm talking about.

Stinky. another thing I would do if I was you. Instead of doing your livewells the way your talking about, since you have to build a transom cap, can't you make it wide enough to fit the livewells in it so they are parallel with transom??? One of the major benefits to me with a closed transom and bracket is all the extra cockpit space you gain.

Tinman, on the knee braces THANKS! I will definitely do that. The old ones are kinda pitiful.


The parallel thing....I could, but I was tring to prevent cutting the angled from section and keep all the original flooring ya know?


No I am thinking though, that extra room would be nice. ???
