That's a good price. I don't think you'll get it done much cheaper unless you have access to a very large oven. ;)

That sounds pretty cheap :)

Re: Powdercoating my bracket....
Sounds like a good deal to me Stink. Go for it.

Re: Powdercoating my bracket....
Definately sounds like a good deal. I would just make sure it's OK to powdercoat the bracket. Powdercoating requires baking at 400 degrees and can weaken some parts. I doubt it will with the bracket but I'd double check anyway.
edit: just checked Stainless' website...says brackets are powdercoated. Is yours not??? Or it just needs refinishing? |

Tin, mine as some leftover paint (of some kind) on it and barnacles as well. needs blasting and powdercoating bad.

Re: Powdercoating my bracket....
yeah you can buy an unpainted or powder coated bracket. Usually they were sent that way to factory boat builders then they paint to match their boats.

Re: Powdercoating my bracket....

Go for it! |
Re: Powdercoating my bracket....
Yeah MJ, he told me that a good powdercoat will not crack or flake even if the steel is hit to the point that it bends. :o
