OK NEW HUBS NEW TIRES AND RIMS READY FOR SPLASH (RIGHT) :( GO OVER EVERYTHING OK, NOW FOR THE BAD TRIM DRIVE DOWN GOOD, TRIM UP HALF WAY CLICK CLICK NO TRIM MOTOR, I PUT EVERY THING NEW IN THE BOAT THE ONLY THING THAT WORKED GOOD WAS THE TRIM PUMP SO I DID NOT TOUCH IT. PULLED PUMP OFF BRUSHES SHOT, NOW IM GOING TO REBUILD PUMP MOTOR IF I CAN FIND BRUSHES AND SPRINGS ITS THE OLD PRESTOLITE PUMP TO 1983

I have a trim motorproblem also!!

Well Mine goes up and down, but with motor up it comes back down all by its self :o

I have worked all the air out and still the same?? I have a internal leak some place!! Just what I need now!!

Sounds like a solenoid. Been there done that!!

This is on a 1989 Yamaha 175 hp

were is the solenoid??

Check for a screw that relieves internal pressure. Make sure it's tight. My Yammi 90 did that till I tightened it.

MJ have you checked the manual release screw to make sure it is tight and not corroded.

That thing has been soild for the 5 years I owned it, Its going to take disassamblely of that thing to make it move!!
So I am sure its not that.
