Bottom Paint Removal
I need some advise again. I want to remove the 10 plus layers of bottom paint it is so old and dried out it rubs off blue in on your hand, after a day in saltwater yesterday the paint left the driveway blue after a powerwash. I was reading about a product called Removall 610. Has anybody ever used it, and if so how well did it work.......Thanks in advance..........Ted

Re: Bottom Paint Removal
I'd be anxious to hear what that's all about. my boat was formerly moored/slipped a couple of seasons, the bottom paint isn't that thick, maybe 2 layers, but it is worn out to where you can see the white hull in some places....all in all it makes the whole boat look a bit shabby. [it looks great in the water] I REFUSE to get on my back w/ any sort of sander, let alone by hand, and sand it down...it's just not happenin'

Re: Bottom Paint Removal
I tried several things. *The more expensive, the less it worked.
Here's the ticket: *BIX (important to get the orange can) from Home Depot. *15 bucks for a gallon with spray bottle. * It will turn that old paint to soft butter in 15 minutes. *Good stuff. |
Re: Bottom Paint Removal
Skools out post how it works out. I can't open your link either.....maybe it's me......Ted
