bow chocks ?
 

im looking to replace my bow chocks . ive measured them and came up with 4 and a half total length and 4 inches between the screw holes. so my question is do i order 4 and a half inch or 4s . iwould like to use the same screw holes.

You'll order the same overall (in this case 41/2") and can only HOPE the screw-holes match ::) ...chances of finding the same manufacturer that made your originals are slim and that measurement between the holes could change...

Question...what's wrong w/ the ones you have now?...if stainless steel, it's not too difficult to polish them back to new finish...if chrome on brass or zinc, they can be replated...

Are your chocks like the ones shown on this dirty old boat?

yep mine look like that but theyre made of zink and chrome plated .they are crumbling all to pieces now and need to be replaced. id like to go back with stainless if possible. are those for sale?they look to be in good shape.

Nope, these not for sale...original to boat (33 yrs old)...when ya take your old ones off, try to go back w/ stainless...you'll never have to deal w/ them again... ;) ...

I will ask the guy down here partin' his out if he's got any...

I had to replace mine,
I took the old ones off and went to a marine supply store.
They had the exact size to replace mine.

but all the ones I have, you can barely see them.

Hey reel, that picture you posted, has the bow light in it. That adapter piece under the bow light. Is that custom made or can you buy that piece to raise up the bow lights ??

In your quest of posting useless info to run your numbers up, you for got to stop and read sometimes!

Yes he made them spacers as I will also be doing soon. The ols V20's have a 3/4" lip around the bow.
When he added his trolling motor, and I added the anchor pulpit we lost are single bow light.
So we have to go with seprate ones and use the spacer to get it up high enough to be seen.

M.J. in a quest to run "your" numbers up, you failed to add in the answer as to how he made them along with step buy step pics. Thus involving more post and pics. *;D

you have the pictures, and all you have to do is take a 3/4 piece of Starboard and cut it the shape of the light.

Wow and I thought yo had to have some smarts to be a police??
