Trailer Hub Question

I have a 1995 Starboard brand trailer, same as a loadrite. It is a single axle with a capacity I believe of 3700 lbs. I'm interested in replacing the hubs but I don't know what size I need. I saw some complete kits on Ebay that look pretty good.

Re: Trailer Hub Question

if there is nothing wrong with them you are fine, just replace berrin and races when needed.

That said unless you have the model and no someone that deals with them, the only way to find out is to remove it.

You will have a tapered shaft I am sure, something like 1 1/4" inside and 1" outside?

Re: Trailer Hub Question

It's probably 1 3/8" outter by 1 1/16'" inner. If the bearings are two different sies, thats what you have. All the boat trailers that I've worked on with 13" or larger tires have used this bearing set for a long time.
