you got to tell me your secret for refinishing your teak, It looks incrdible, I need to restore mine. ;D

Cy, he's only 40 minutes north of you, just take the teak to him, that way you wont need his secret ;D

That is a wonderful idea. Hammer you can be expecting a UPS by our favorite delivery girl soon, and hurry up refinishing it so I can get the boat in the water soon >:( ;D :D ;D

Thanks CY. Worked the wife hard on scrubbing the old teak clean, then sanding. I then took over and used Red Oak Minwax finish and Helmsman Exterior Spar Urethanne. Well the motor might not tilit up, but the teak looks good. ;D

so you stainded it and the polyurethaned it? never thought of that. :-/

Its exterior urethane, so I'm hoping it will be fine. I'll see. ;)

Just using the urethane will give it a great look.

Thats a good question. I never oiled wood before and wonder if the urethane would bond over the oil. I guess that it would once the oil drys ?
