its not that hard, there are some tricks to it, and getting a long 1/4" drive extension and a 5/16 swivel socket will hellp a lot, you will need a hinge pin tool( what year model ?), bellows adhsive(contact cement), and if your trim senders are bad, this is a good time to replace them, might as well replace the shift cable and water hose while you're at it(don't forget to check the gimbal bearing). Its not easy either, deffinately not for the mechanically declined. Would probably take you a day if you have not corrosion problems
