Transducer replacement
What would I use to fill screw holes that will be under water. I'm installing my new FF and transd and paddle wheel. thanks Billy Mac ;D

small holes like that can be done a few ways.
#1 and best way, Formula 27, fill and sand, Marine Tex will also be fine!! #2 Take a Golf T put in resin hamer into the hole, let dry, cut end off. Great to fix screw holes in deck also! #3. 5200 will work fine. (make sure to put 5200 on new screws) |

Formula 27 or marine tex? I have some marine tex. West marine carries F27 I assume? Thanks MJ Billy Mac ;D

use what you have!! Marine tex is perfect if thats what you have on hand!! F27 is very were Boaters world, hardware stores ect ect..

Put on as smooth as you can!! that stuff sands like Iron!!

Don't forget, immediately after applying two part epoxy such as Marine Tex, wet it (water or spit works best) and smooth out the repair to avoid lots of sanding.
