Managed to drive a screw through my FF transducer wire! It's aGarmin 120. Anyone know how to fix it. I think it's coax.

I don't think you can? You may have to get a new transducer. Call Garmin they very good to deal with they tell you all you need to know.

Here is a new one for yours, not to bad price if you like the machine.

I cut a garmen and its got several little insulated wires inside the black cable. You can splice them together using regular electricans caps and shrink tape them. I did mine over two years ago and so far so good even the temp gauge works..Frank

Re: transducer wire

what frank said works too but if it's coax just get some RG-58 connectors and then use a barrel to put back together like you would an antenna wire ext.
