Deck repair
Well for the 7000 post here, this is what I did today.
Worked into the dark, in the cold and the rain trying to get the deck done. Framing in some supports, checked the wiring and added in a new fuel line. Glue and foam. http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...r/DSC03095.jpg Screwed and glued in the new wood. I wet the wood down with West System the day before. http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...r/DSC03096.jpg Tearing, and scraping off the old wet wood. http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...r/DSC03097.jpg Skin all cleaned up. http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...r/DSC03098.jpg Wet down the skin and the wood. Then the rain started coming down harder. *>:( http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...r/DSC03099.jpg Threw down some wax paper and tossed on some old batteries and anything else I could find. http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...r/DSC03101.jpg |
Re: Deck repair
Next will be to grind down the sides and add in some cloth. Not to worried on appearance. Gonna spray the deck with WHITE bedliner rubber stuff. *;)
Held off on cutting out the access hatch. Thinking of going with a bigger one. |
Re: Deck repair
why did you not cut the access hole out before you glued it down?
Have to be care full when cutting it now!! |
Re: Deck repair
