 Re: Prop Shaft - Powerhead HP rating I have a 1975 evinrude 70hp and a 1986 Johnson 60hp. Basically the same motor. One is prop-rated and the other is power-head rated, hence the different numbers on the cowl. Crazy thing to change IMHO. Less confusing is better in the consumer world!!
