2002 Suzuki DF 140
 

4 stroke. Anyone running one? How do you like it.
How many hours would you expect on a 5 year old New England engine?

I am running a Johnson 140 4stroke which is a Suzuki DF 140 painted white. It is great on my V-20. Top speed with my old prop (19 pitch) was 40 mph (gps). I just put on a 21 pitch prop which lowered my cruising rpm by 400-500 rpm however I haven't done a top speed run. (The ICW was so full of boats I couldn't open her up).

Oh, I get about 5 mpg as well.

To me, it is perfect for a V-20.

I have about 200 hours on my 2003.

I would think that they would last 3000 hrs or more.
