Thats about 2 to 4 grand cheaper then the Etec's.

Have you called around to see if anyone will beat it? m Or do you trust the guy you have?
I have never bought a New motor before, not sure if its like a car and some one else would be a little cheaper? I am thinking they all about the same.

But I figure $10,000 was the cheapest I could get away with it. But I am not sold on 4 stroke yet, I be looking for 2 stroke, Nice left over or something.

I say if you got it, Like it, go for it!! There is nothing like the feeling you are going out and coming home!!

Just wish I could have that feeling!!

Good Luck!

I have the same feeling, cheap feeling that is. ;)

Seriously, that sounds like a good deal.

Just to give you an idea of what MJ is referring to, in 2005 I bought a brand new 2004 leftover Yami 150 2 stroker for $7500 which included install. I already had a new prop and new oil tank.

I don't know if anything like this is still around as I haven't been looking, but you might find something if you look really really hard. ;)

I paid just under 9K for my Johnzuki 140 in 2003 and I had to install it. I'd say that is a good deal.

The 9K included everything, taxes, prop, controls, cables, idiot lights.

I pay $35 a year for towing coverage on my boat insurance policy, it will pay up to $500.00 per tow, unlimited tows per year.

You just have to pay for the tow up front and file it to get your $$$$ back.

Repirts just going from last years boat show prices that sounds like a good deal, at least in the NJ area, I saw prices like that no install or prop. But that was then and now that I have a fancy schmancy 60 hp 4stroke Yammiehaha I have not been paying attention to prices ;D
