transom bracket price

got a quote from a&j marine welding. a single engine,no platform 30 inch setback $1,000 plus $80 for hardware is this a good price or can i find beter elsewhere?

Check D&D marine as well. I found his prices are often lower then than others

Has anyone used the Porta Bracket?? It is used as an offset bracket & jackplate all in one... This will allow me to not only fish offshore but to run most of the back country on the Texas Coast....

Contemplating using one to replace a SeaDrive on my "New to Me" 85 V-20.
