Wow! What a setup! All that $$$ those guys must have made selling -- why not just legalize, regulate and tax the crap out of it?

I grew up in Kentucky, used to work on a friend's family farm growing tobacco along the Ohio River. Every so often someone would come in and plant weed in remote areas of their farm. Turns out pot and tobacco thrive in similar soil conditions. As we were hanging tobacco in the barn we would imagine how much the crop would be worth if it were pot!

That DOES look like a nice house. Maybe you can buy it from the gubment!

Not too efficient they were being watched for five years, which by the way WTF five years do you realize how much money they made and stashed in five years, do you realize how much reefer they put on the street in five years I know the wheels of justice move a little slower below the Mason Dixon but what the H@ll They had an undercover officer with them for FIVE YEARS :-/

Knowing about it, and putting together a case that can make it stick, can be two different things. And sometimes they can bust more than just the guy in the house if they see where the case takes them.

C'mon guys, didn't you ever watch Miami Vice? 8)

Yea Crocket and Tubbs would have had it done in 30 minutes with two shoot outs and a couple of super models on the side. But once the head of the group is found and you trace bank accounts and buyers for a few months you are golden. Doing what they did put a lot of drugs on the streets for YEARS a case like that is made in weeks with a man on the inside. And beside the drugs think of the violence and risk others are exposed to while these asses do their buisness, including the cops on the streets that are chasing these guys When you see stuff like that you are looking at Sheriffs and/or politicians looking to make a career on a major bust and hoping to make it go as far and long as they can
