Be gone for a few days, theres some woodcock whistling in the woods up in NY State and the grouse should be gorging on the Hawthornes so me and the two Brits along with a friend of mine are loading up MJ's favorite truck (Super Duty 250) and going on up and get some.

Tasty little winged devil that has never flown a straight line in its life. Migratory from the maritimes in Canada all the way south to the gulf coast twice a year.
Grouse are those birds that cause cardiac arrests in people when they launch from the ground and get to 60 mph in second or two and do it with thunderous racket, and they always wait till something is between them and you, or until you have just passed them or while you are pulling branches out of your way or picking your nose or anything besides holding your shotgun where it should be. ;)
