Great video. It just happened three weeks ago to our female officer. She said teh same thing. "it jumped" out of gear. Yeah right, she forgot to stick it into park. The patrol went in reverse and struck the females officers own personel vehicle that she had fore maybe a month. Damaged both the vehicles. But she's a chief girl, so she was never written up. :-/

I don't understand why it's so hard to believe that a car can "jump" outa gear.... These things do have a mind of their own, ya know... :o Besides, if I had a hard time finding the "P" on the gear selector and had never heard of a "Parking Brake" I would say the darn thing jumped outa gear to! ::)

Especially if I could get away with it by simply sobbing a little and batting an eyelash or two... :-*
